Club Activities 2010
MUSIC
There is music in the Club on at least 2 Saturday nights
of each month, provided by professional bands from the
Big Bands to Solo Artists, music for dancing, for singing
or music for just sitting and enjoying. A Draw also takes
place on Band evenings
The Club currently has three Men’s Darts Teams and one
Ladies’ team. The Ladies play on a Monday Evening and the Men play
on Wednesday and Friday Evenings in two local Leagues.
The Club has its own Skittle Alley, which is available for hire. The
Minstead Training Project holds a skittle evening 1 Thursday evening
each month with members invited to attend.
The Club runs two Crib Teams which play in local Leagues
on Thursday nights.
Our monthly Quiz is held on the first Tuesday of
each month. The Quiz has its own Snowball Question
where the prize value increases month by month until it is won.
The Club holds 2 Full Bingo sessions every Wednesday and
Sunday evening starting at 8.00pm. Each session also holds a raffle.
Tickets are sold and drawn on a Saturday Lunchtime in the Club Bar
Tickets for this are sold behind the bar at 10p each and you are
asked to forecast two numbers which are drawn on Saturday nights.
Takes place on a Wednesday and Saturday evening. Members are
asked to forecast the National Lottery Bonus Ball drawn - £1 per
number between 1 and 49. The Winner collects prize of £40
The Club has Pool and Snooker tables for members use, situated
in the Games room
CATERING
The Club has its own kitchen that serves a full range of Breakfasts,
lunchtime meals and light snacks. Lunchtime food is available Tuesday – Sunday 12 noon to 2 pm
Both the Function Room and the Meeting Room are available to hire.
The Club provides a range of menus to cater for private functions.
